Getting started
Build your first fugo site, learn how a project is organized, and the commands you will use every day.
fugo turns a directory of Markdown content and Tera templates into a static website. If you have used a static site generator with Go templates, most of it will look familiar: the project layout, front matter, sections, taxonomies and configuration keys are the same. Templates are the big difference — read Migrating from Go templates when you are ready to move a site.
- Quick start Create a small site with a home page and a blog post, preview it with the development server, and build it for publishing.
- Directory structure What each directory of a fugo project holds, and how themes and mounts combine them.
- Basic usage The commands you use every day — build, serve, check templates — and the options that change what gets built.
